Tell us about your role at Annalect.
I’m part of the Global Media Ops team, which means I help with process-setting and finding ways to make reporting easier, for our colleagues and clients around the world.
What do you like to do when you’re not at work?
I’m an avid gamer and movie enthusiast. I’ve dabbled in screenplay writing — and hope to get back into it — but right now my fiancé and I are in full-on wedding planning mode.
What is your proudest professional achievement?
The T. Howard Foundation helps minority students earn internships at respected companies. They helped me secure an internship which changed the course of my career. I felt so proud when they recognized my promotion at their awards dinner.
In celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, who or what is your biggest inspiration.
My cousin Ricky is proudly Latino and has always been there for me. He was the one blasting Reggaeton and Bachata at family parties, and teaching me how to dance.
What message do you have for Hispanic/Latino/Latina colleagues, who may be early in their career and looking to grow into positions of leadership in their schools, workplaces or communities?
Be you. Your diversity is what makes you an asset … bringing fresh perspectives and knowledge that others don’t have. It also helps to be bilingual/multilingual!
