What is your current role at Annalect?
I am the Scenario Product Manager. I focus on the vision and evolution of a suite of media planning tools and collaborate with Research, Planning and Advanced Analytics teams globally to drive tactical planning in media strategies.
Describe a passion you have for the type of work you do and how Annalect helps to feed your passion?
I like finding creative solutions to challenges. At Annalect, I am able to collaborate with teams worldwide to find answers that are not so obvious and convert them into actionable processes that are relevant to the clients business objectives.
Can you think of a project you were a part of that you really enjoyed? Why?
I enjoyed our Research road show. I was able to interact with different research and client account teams around the world. I learned about media consumption across markets and helped them utilize Scenario in a customizable way to make better planning decisions.
What made you first enter your field? Was it planned or unplanned?
When I first started my media career, I worked in Operations and Research. In my role, I grew to be skilled on multiple media systems and tools. As a result, I become interested in product development and wanted to intersect my experience as a media professional with technology.
What advice would you give to someone just starting his/her career in your field?
Keep an open mind when navigating through your career. You can enter a business exercising a specific function and by the end of the year evolve into another area. Now that’s marketable!
What do you like to do when you’re not at work?
I like to travel; especially to places with close proximities to bodies of water. This summer I will be returning to Europe to explore new cities and making my first visit ever to the African continent. When I’m not traveling, I am usually hanging out with family and friends or volunteering as an alumni leader at my alma mater, Columbia University.
